Standardized Tests

A standardized test is a test administered and scored in a standard manner. Today, many of the widely-used standardized tests are administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS), which was established in 1948. Many of these tests are used as entry requirement for English speaking countries, or as admission requirement for English speaking Universities.

  • TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language
  • IELTS - International English Language Testing System
  • SAT - Scholastic Aptitude Test
  • GRE - Graduate Record Examination
  • GMAT - Graduate Management Admissions Test
