FictionRemix
Hello and welcome to the FictionRemix wiki. This is a place where folks can come and rewrite some of the classic fiction written over the years, as well as your own stories. Feel free to add any of your favorite stories here, but please remember they need to either be your own stories, or stories that are in the public domain. If you are not sure whether or not a story is in the public domain, or if you want to find the text for a story in the public domain, you can visit Project Gutenberg.
Current Remix Stories
- To Build a Fire (Jack London)
- Bullies Don't Have Armpits (Intro) (Matthew Buckley)
- Bullies Don't Have Armpits (excerpt) (Matthew Buckley)
- Testing (Ellen)
Current Mashup Stories
From The Urban Dictionary
"Mashup:
- (1) To be stoned or drunk
- (2) To look raggedy or beaten-up in appearance
- (3) A mix of different music tracks to produce a new track"
In this instance, we are interested in the third definition, but applying it to fiction. Does anybody have any suggestions for two stories that might mashup nicely?
