Ideas
- Legend of Zelda-esque "dark world". More or less transported to a land that is identical in geography, structures, etc, but whose landscape is of a different color palate, its sky being black/dark in some way, and a feeling of "evil"
This would be a great concept to explore in one of the middle novels, after the characters have grown into their roles.
In fact, make this an entire novel. Have the entrance to this "dark world" be a doorway of some kind - make it foreboding and dark, creepy as hell. WoT doorway that Moiraine fell into, doorway in the department of Mysteries that Sirius Black fell into.
Make its appearance be able to be seen by anyone, but its ACCESS only able to happen given a number of circumstances - such as in the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe - or again, WoT.
