On July 8, 1996, the hosts of "The Friday Show" yelled out the word "F**k" 27 times. Surprisingly, the hosts survived, and so did the show. But the Network had a massive decline in ratings, averaging 28 viewers per week. The Owner, CEO and President of the Network handed his titles over to a young toddler.

The Network has recovered since then, and is now doing better in the ratings. The Network has had many shows since then (see list below). Network 11 will be celebrating their 50th birthday on August 19, 2007 with a live 3 hour show from 6:30PM - 9:30PM. In 1998, the HQ was shifted from Sydney to Tamworth.
