Based in Surimtak, the WPA is the governing body for the sport of Polo.

The Tournament of Champions

The premier international competition is The Tournament of Champions - a knock-out competition drawing the best teams around the globe. The 1306 competion drew 16 teams from 7 nations, the largest for a generation.

Three each were drawn from the top-ranking teams of Aredighuan and Surimtak, and to the surprise of many observers, from Clairone - allegedly the result of Illyrican sponsorship. The middle-ranking nations of Arisnona and Arvitan each were represented by two teams. One further team was drawn from each of Noïvar and Sharoyl, the latter for the first time competing in 1306.

The 1307 Tournament of Champions is due to be played in Surimtak in the latter half of the year.
