General description
Taria is the name given to a geographical area including two big islands and some smaller ones, located between the Northern Ocean and the Tiltanar Ocean. The western big island is called Deirityr and the eastern one is called Ardolean, while among the smaller we find Nation 14 and Eysturoy, located in the Tarian Way, a sea dividing the previous big islands. Ardolean is divided in two states (Veannaigh and North Ardolean), while Deirityr is fractured in four states (Aedhael, Arëdighùan, Arvitan and the United Ilonic Confederation). Eysturoy and Nation 14 form two independent states as well. The climate ranges from the tundra inland of Ardolean to the temperate plains of Deirityr.

Settlement Era
The ancient history of Taria is not yet completely clear. Although, most experts in Eshraval agree that the first human settlement was proto-Massian. Merchants and farmers coming from northern Ashria reached the shores of Deirityr, and probably explored also the rest of the Tarian archipelago. Their settlement was probably low in number of persons, or simply not structured in effective kingdoms. This may be the reason for the little resistance that these proto-Massians opposed to the Shakrihl invasion. The Shakrihl came from Central Naoria in the golden period of their history, passing via #122. They soon fought (or simply outnumbered) the previous land owners, forcing most of them to move back to Ashria or flee to Veltland. With the complete domination of Taria, the Shakrihl enjoyed an era of richness, and started dividing themselves in current nations.
Colonization Era
This period has been interrupted by the arrival of the Aphilian conquerors from Northern Sapphilia. Being at the time the strongest civilization in Eshraval, they didn't have many problems to assimilate the Shakrihl kingdoms and impose their law. At the top expansion, they ruled on Deirityr, Eysturoy and #117, and they even started settling their exceeding population in Arëdighùan, that is now Aphilian in majority. Not much time after, Taria had been invaded also from east, by the Tsyanyang Principality. The Zunian empire conquered Central Naorian coastline but also Ardolean, and fought for the control of Eysturoy and #117. These events caused the recent poverty in Taria, but also encouraged movements of rebellion against colonialist forces.
Independence Era
The nation-making process had been accelerated, and nowadays the only traces of this past are the Aphilians majority in Arëdighùan and the Oskan minority in #117. In the last years the Tarian States are gradually getting richer, and the area is no more considered as isolated as it was centuries ago. Modern processes of globalization are causing social mutations in Taria, and wise governments are required to face a period of change and new perspectives for the inhabitants of the area - also on the diplomatic point of view (Taria is currently set aside of international alliances and enjoys a typical neutral status).
