I Believe that this site gives a good definition of what endocrine disruptors are and how they function. It also focuses on a few specific examples. [1]

What is Ecotoxicity? This site gives us a very clear definition. It also goes on to explain the importance of studying this environmental disruption. [2]

This site is a good example of the steps involved in an ecological risk assessment. It talks about the investigation of the contamination of the J-field site in Chesapeake Bay. [3]

Bioaccumulation

This USGS website explains bioaccumulation and why it is a problem. It gives examples and provides many other articles filled with information on this subject. [4]

Emerging Disease

This site is an official website of the state of Michigan, but I think it contains information that is relevent to all states. It tells the importance of disease awareness and ways to attempt to track them. [5]

There are so mmany sites about pollution out there, so I decided to choose one that hits close to home. This website tells the history of the EPA in Illinois. [6]

Biological Magnification

This is a pdf document meant for students wanting to understand biological magnification. It is simple, yet contains a lot of information. [7]

A short definition and a long list of all the known carcinogens. [8]

Environmental Stresser

The Center for Plant Environmental Stress Physiology at Purdue University focuses on these problems and suggests what to do about them. You are also able to look at their Research activities. [9]

Red Tides

This is the START website (Solutions To Avoid Red Tide). It talks about what the state of Florida is doing to improve on the problem. [10]
