End of the World (or EotW for short) is an alternate universe roleplaying game based upon both CLAMP's manga/anime X(/1999) & Tite Kubo's Bleach

The Origin
Introduction:
This game takes place in 1999. The battle for the end of the world as we know it is taking place, the sheer spiritual power of this war has caused strange things to happen all over the world, reaching from Japan to Egypt and even all the way to the United States. Those thought long gone may possibly suddenly and mysteriously reappear and those not even of this country and with no knowledge of the war will be pulled into it. The populace of Tokyo is unaware that their fate and that of all humanity hangs in the balance and in the hands of seven special people and whatever allies they may gather to their cause. Of course there are those who view Humanity as something which has caused enough damage to the world upon which they live and desire to wipe it from the face of the earth. Seven people have joined hands in this cause and will also seek allies to fight against the defenders of humanity. Who will win and what allies will the two sides gather in their year long war? Will Humanity lose and the Earth be reborn? or Will Humanity be protected and continue upon its seemingly destined path of self-destruction taking the earth's future with them? No one knows until the last battle is fought and the last world said..
The above was the introduction to the first version of the game which was created and started on April, 19, of 2005.
Redux
The year is 2002, in the two years since the Promised Day in 1999, Tokyo has been slowly recovering from the quakes and flooding which destroyed a good portion of the city that rested so close to the edge of the island. However, this idealic lull is about to be broken by an overdue return of another threat, Aizen Sousuke has plans to use the recovering city of Tokyo--including all of Karakura--for reasons currently unknown to the residents. Thankfully there are a few obstacles in his path, the main one being the shinigami of Soul Society. Now a second storm of war builds upon the horizon, and this time both the earth and the people of Tokyo are in danger.
The above is the introduction to the sequel to EotW, known as End of the World; Redux. The gameplay was moved to Insanejournal for this incarnation of EotW due to conflict of issues with Greatestjournal. It was created on September 8, of 2007 but as of currently has yet to begin. The largest difference between the two games beyond time passage of time and the changes in the terrain (ie: The flooding of a sizable portion of Tokyo) is that the central plot no longer revolves around X1999 as the first incarnation of EotW did, instead Redux's central plot is built instead around Bleach.
