Ingredients

  • 1 head napa cabbage, chopped
  • 1 1/2 blocks Ramen noodles, broken
  • 1/4 c. sesame seeds
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 5 green onions, chopped
  • 4 oz. slivered almonds
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce

Directions

Mix vegetables and set aside. Heat margarine; add broken noodles, almonds, and sesame seeds. Stir together until cooled.

To make the dressing, heat sugar and soy sauce until sugar melts. Cool slightly, then add vinegar. (This can be made alternately by mixing ingredients together and allowing to sit in refrigerator overnight.) Add noodles, almonds, and sesame mixture to vegetables just before serving. Top with dressing.
