*'''February 7.''' [[Charlie Elia]] passed away. Uncle Charlie lived a long and full life, but he still seems to have been taken from us far too soon. He was in good spirits and in fairly good health at the 2004 Reunion in Norwich, and his mind was sharp even at the end. He was the patriarch of the largest branch of the Elia family tree; our hearts go out to Nick and Ann, Mary Jean and Irm, Charles and Judith, and Theresa and John. Uncle Charlie will be missed by the whole Elia family.

Posting Announcements

This is where you can keep up with important announcements about our family, including information about upcoming reunions, weddings, births, and the health of our family members. Anything that you would like to disseminate to the entire family is fair game for this page. Please post the announcement by editing this page or emailing the announcement to Steven St. John.

Announcements should be published both on this page and the front page. See instructions on the front page for posting there. Announcements here should be in chronological order (newest announcement first). Do not delete any old announcements.

I have always revered Aunt Pep's strength, and I think many in the family looked to her for advice and comfort, because she always seemed to rise to any crisis. We will all miss her very much.
