BIO: The Falken first appeared in the Ace combat universe in Ace Combat 5. Though many believe it is similar to the ADF-01 of Ace Combat 2, there are some major differences, so it has been given a topic of it's own for the Ace Combat 5 version.

The Falken is arguably the most powerfull aircraft in Ace Combat. This is because of it's awsome Tactical Laser System (TLS) Spcial weapon that can destroy any target with a single hit. It is a modified version of the TLS seen on the ADFX-01 Morgan; it is capable of delivering the same amount of fire power, at a longer distance with a longer firing time. The Falken is equipped with a visible 360 Degree Cockpit, giving the pilot an immense advantage in combat. It's cockpit is considered to be the first version of the revolutionary COFFIN System. Along with this advanced technology, the ADF-01F is extremely fast, agile, and capable of deploying other, conventional armarments; such as XLAA and FAEB.
In a special mission, known as "Operation X" in Ace Combat X: The Skies of Deception, the player can fight against four ADF-01F Falkens. Thus far, this is the only time that the ADF-01F can be engaged in combat.
