History of Denmark
The history of Denmark goes back into the mists of Time, The earliest records of settlement are dated at 110,000 BC in Denmark. Vikings, being based in Denmark and other scandinavian countries, and which Culminated with the defeat in th Second War of Schleswig-Holstein which lead to a firm stance of neutrality for time to come.
Politics of Denmark
Denmark is quite socially liberal and has embraced the concept of Neutrality with open arms. It is certainly thought the use of words may overpower the use of weapons.

Exploration
Danish and the ancestors have been known throughout the centuries to be avid explorers and traders, in the 20th century this has not changed. Danish Explorers have gone to conquer the north and south poles respectively
North Pole
- 1917, Ejnar Mikkleson set out from Copenhagen, with the goal of finding the North Geographical Pole. They landed on the Ice Shelf of the Arctic and had failed with some losses, they returned the bodies of the dead back to Denmark for burial.
- 1920. Ejnar Mikkleson once again set out from Copenhagen with the goal of finding the North Geographical pole. His expedition never returned and a rescue expedition sent to try and find out what happened, however the had to return due to unseasonal bad weather which resulted in a few lossed men.
- A 1921 expedition is planed to try and find the fate of these guys once and for all.
South Pole
- 1915, Danish and Dutch Explorers, Knud Rasmussen and Lt. Oliver Hendrik set out on the first combined expedition to the Southern-most continent. It was a success and saw the begining of what was to become a wonderful friendship.
- 1916, saw the 2nd of these combined expeditions, Knud Rassmussen and Lt. Oliver Hendrik set off and retturned for another successful trip. This saw Lt. Hendrik be the first non-Danish full member of the Royal Danish Geographical Society, Knud also received a prestigous Dutch honour.
