Current revision as of 00:37, 25 January 2009

All Advanced Jobs require at least 8 years of intensive training and a large supply of knowledge, talent and/or determination. Those working to become a Bard, say, would technically be a Freelancer or a Thief until they reached a level of competency sufficient to be considered a bard. There will be no prodigy Paladins or Assassins or any other job appearing on this list.

All Job descriptions come with a link to one of the Ivalice video games' official skill trees. This is just for your own personal reference about the capabilities of the Job and not something you must follow to a T.

Though there are no class caps, if one class (especially if it is an Advanced Job) has a good deal more characters in it than the average, it will be temporarily unavailable to app into.

Contents

They usually have methods of nullifying physical attacks, and a way to quickly escape from battle.
