The King of The Ring was a tournament featuring the D-Generation XX Superstars from its Monday Night Massacre brand. The event was first announced on DXX.com on Monday 14th April by General Manager Rocco Ross and began on the April 21st edition of Massacre with the first round matches, ending on May 5th when James Manson defeated Chad Jennings to become the 2008 King of The Ring winner.
Due to several first round winners not being able to continue in the tournament a few changes have been made.
