This fad's origins are unclear, but they may have come from an issue of Nintendo Power. Users would create a meesage in all lowercase, with no aphostrophes, and misspelling words, like "your" as "ur" and a word ending in "ing" would have the "g" dropped. The phrase was always a two-part sentence, with a comma between the parts. Usually, there was no period at the end. Another example, besides this page's title, is "im in ur dump, eatin ur bandwidths".

Usage on Digibutter may have been caused by the Franis ben mi plx fad...

A prime example is:

"im in ur wiki page, editin dis fing in"

Or:

"Im in ur base, wreckin ur stuff"

A loosely-related exaple is:

"Have ur peoplez call ma peoplez"
