Personality
Marty is often described as a generally charming, helpful and friendly guy. But beneath the surface he is vindictive and prideful. These traits make up a disposition that allows him to make friends and gain enemies easily. Although he is also clever, Marty isn't exactly always well informed. Much like the rest of the Jackson family, he has the aliment of always being "out of the loop". Because of this it's difficult for him to stay up to date with his given missions, but at the very most he has the determination to complete them.
History
Being the 4th oldest of the Jackson siblings, Marty was your average middle child. Being raised on the Doduo and Dodrio farm with the rest of his family taught him what hard work was like. By the time he was 11 Marty was ready to set out for his Pokemon journey just like siblings before him. With a Squirtle as his starter, things were starting out very brightly.
Along the way he encountered many Pokemon and trainers that helped him out, he even won a badge or two along the way. Around the time me was 18, Marty met a young woman trainer who he fell quickly for. She was talented and strong, not to mention she had rare Pokemon! The two decided to travel Johto for a week or so, getting to know each other better along the way. But the unfortunate truth for Marty was that it was a ruse, for this beautiful trainer was only out to steal his Pokemon. She was a grunt for Team Rocket all along! Fortunately he was able to escape with his two best Pokemon in tact, but she had run off with a couple of others.
In search for her, he spotted some TR members in Celadon. Through an fortunate series of events, he managed to follow them without being spotted. At some point they had walked into the back of a tall building. Without hesitation Marty followed them inside, but not getting too far before getting caught!
Instead of getting mugged again or kicked out indefinitely, the young trainer was taken in. He was the right age, after all! Impressionable. His stolen Pokemon? Psh, here, have a Rattata!
It's been three years since he joined Team Rocket, finding their way of life a little more easy than just wandering Johto for badges and Pokemon? Why not just take them? Hell, even raise through the ranks and get your own rare Pokemon for just being high ranked! It was a much more interesting then your generic boring Pokemon adventure.

Pokémon
Toby ( T-Rad )
- Type: Blastoise
- How long owned: 10 years
- Other: Marty's starter, evolved from a Squirtle. By far his most loyal and loved. He was affectionately nick-named by Marty's sister Emi. If anyone ever asks, Marty would probably never tell. That or he just forgot.
Chloe
- Type: Ninetails
- How long owned: 5 years
- Other: Caught as a Vulpix and evolved with a fire stone. Marty's most pampered Pokemon, her tails are often times wrapped around his shoulders to show off. She is one of his most powerful as well, using very strong fire attacks.
Lani
- Type: Ratticate
- How long owned: 3 years
- Other: Issued as a Ratatta when he joined TR. Quirky and quick, she has been a trusty companion. She has a fondness for eating paper, which is bothersome for Marty when working at the HQ.
