The 'Upupimimus purpurventris', was originally thought to be the fossil of a huge Hoopoe, until it was recreated.

Description
- Body, face and nose area are purple.
- Legs and arms are green.
- Eyes are red.
- Talons are yellow, the tips are red.
- Around the eyes are patches of black, bare skin.
- Black feathers and a black crest cover its body.
- Has thicker feathers around its nostrils, probably to protect them.

Habitat and Range
Deserts of Devonshire.
Diet
Carcasses and meat of other animals, occasionally an apple.
Conservation Status
Endangered, but being bred in labs.
