Basics
Name: Fai D. Flowright
Age: Appears in his early twenties, but he’ll likely avoid giving you the correct age if you ask him.
Height: Around 5'10".
Weight: He’s a skinny thing; at most 130 pounds.
Hair: Blond, worn in a small ponytail.
Eye-colour: Blue as a human; now gold.
Family: Unknown.
In-Game Relationships: He’s been pretty quiet on the network so far. Recently, however, he’s taken a liking to Reno, for reasons that have yet to be revealed. Is also Zidane Tribal's tutor.
Style: Layers, layers, layers. Fai loves his layers, especially wearing long flowy clothing like trench coats or capes. He used to wear a lot of light clothing, but has started to prefer darker colours as of recently.
Notable Features: Wears an eye patch over his left eye.
Sexual Preference: Fai isn't all that obsessed with sex, really, despite being a touchy-feely type of person. I think it's safe to say he's bisexual, however, for he's mostly just happy to get love wherever the hell it can be found.
Weapons: He doesn't own any special fancy weapons. He just has his magic (which he seldom uses), his lovely hand-to-hand combat (like dancing only not), and uses whatever can be found at the time--which could be darts or arrows, as he seems to favour projectiles over melee weapons.
Personality
At first glance, Fai appears to be quite a carefree and optimistic young man. At second glance he is a foolish dunce, smiling even in the direst of situations. But beneath this rather vacant exterior lurks a dark, deeply enigmatic soul, and despite the friendly ways in which he interacts with the people around him he seems disinclined to ever become emotionally attached to anyone.
Fai is extremely intelligent and perceptive, yet he never uses these traits for another’s advantage—another indication that he really doesn’t wish to get too involved in their affairs. Anyone who can get close to him might learn that he doesn’t seem to value his own life, and may have even longed for his death at one point or another. But there is one small flaw to this trait of his. Before Fai dies, he yearns, more than anything, to be loved.
Background
A lot of Fai's past is shrouded in mystery. Being the emotionally distant person he is, it isn't often that he's willing to divulge every single detail of who he is and where he came from. But to be blunt, he is a very powerful magician and fighter, belying his delicate appearance with these hidden abilities. He's traveled many lands and dimensions, met many people, in a nearly desperate attempt to put as much distance between himself and the king he's escaping from as possible. Through such hardships he has both gained and lost much of his magical abilities, most noticeably his left eye, which he is careful to conceal beneath an eye patch.
Not much is known about his king except that his name was Ashura-ou, ruler of the country of Celes where Fai originates from. He was once imprisoned by this man for a length of time, for reasons still unknown to anyone but Fai himself. He has returned the favor, putting Ashura-ou into an eternal sleep before disappearing from this very dimension in an attempt to flee from his king, praying that he never wakes to try and seek him out.
Soon, Fai came into contact with the Witch of Dimensions, along with others who sought her help as well, for their own individual reasons. With a young boy and girl, a ninja, and a strange rabbit-creature he was thrust into a great adventure across numerous worlds to search for the girl's lost memories in the shape of feathers.
In a recently visited land called 'Tokyo' Fai lost his left eye, along with the magic held within it. In order to keep him from dying of shock he was given the blood of a vampire and the blood of the ninja Kurogane-- and after a painful transformation he became a creature who could live off of nobody's blood but said Kurogane's, with whom he had been bonded. Afterwards Fai felt he could never forgive this man for letting him live. But the four companions continued on their quest, with even more of a resolve than before. Since Fai's arrival in Desai with Mokona, he's secretly been withering away from a serious lack of blood... it's really only a matter of time until he snaps.
