Vash is taken from the Trigun anime, inspired by the manga written by Yasuhiro Nightow. While most of Vash's background and personality is based on anime events, manga references have been (and will be) used to fill in the gaps that the anime did not cover. Due to the fact that Vash is taken from a short time after the anime ended, please beware of spoilers while reading this profile. (Yes, I give spoiler warnings for an anime that's eight years old. STFU.)

Vash is not quite the man he used to be. He still acts like an idiot in front of strangers, still hides his darker emotions (and indeed much of his true emotions) from the public at large, but his smiles aren't quite as empty as they used to be.
