Siela is actually rather optimistic about the world, even if she doesn't share those same sentiments about her own life. In that sense, she can be a little bit of a hypocrit. She only has good intentions when it comes to people though, and would go to great lengths to protect all those that she befriends. However, get on her bad side and she isn't going to hold back.

This girl? Is like a spoiler personified.

Yet another character from the scarcely played Chaos Legion, Siela Riviere is literally the tie that binds all of the game's events together. Chaos Legion begins two years after the death of Siela, although she has a constant presence in the game. One could even go so far as to say that she has been haunting Sieg since the day that she passed on.

Personality

Siela is actually rather optimistic about the world, even if she doesn't share those same sentiments about her own life. In that sense, she can be a little bit of a hypocrit. She only has good intentions when it comes to people though, and would go to great lengths to protect all those that she befriends. However, get on her bad side and she isn't going to hold back.

Suffering from amnesia has brought out her natural curiosity even more. If she can't learn about her own life, why not learn about everyone else's, right? Without meaning to, she can sometimes overstep her boundaries, but really, she doesn't mean to offend. She is dangerously honest, which someday, will probably get her into trouble.

Believing that her death is unavoidable and ever-nearing, Siela possesses a sort of joie-de-vivre that she hopes to be contagious. She is a firm believer of living life to its fullest, no matter how long you have.

The One Upon a Time

Siela didn't have the most comfortable of lives growing up. She was in her early teenage years when her parents died, and with no other place to go, wound up bouncing around orphanages. Being one of the older girls, she was more prone to helping out with the little ones, until she turned sixteen. It was then that she enlisted herself in the Order of Saint Overia, the constant looming government, hoping that she could do some good for the people.

Although feminine, Siela was no pushover. No matter how many times she was thrown down, whether it be in practice or the field, she refused to stay down. The more simple missions were a breeze for her, and she returned back to her base with one victory after another.

It wasn't long before she was sworn into the Order as a Knight, and assigned to a three-man fleet. The remaining two were none other than the Lord Victor Delacroix, and the Dark Glyph Knight, Sieg Warheit.

How It Ended

Again, major Chaos Legion spoilers ahead!!

Rising to the height of their successes, the knights Riviere, Warheit and Delacroix were quickly recognized as one of the Order's deadliest fleets. Spending so much time with one another, they grew together as a small sort of family. A romance blossomed between Siela and Delacroix, but everything was to end in tragedy.

The Order of Saint Overia had, apparently, caught word of an underground group who were suspected of attempting to perform the Forbidden Ritual, which would release the Demon God of Death, Azrail.

Everything seemed to be going according to plan in the darkened cathedral, as Delacroix was put to the arduous task of completing the seal on Azrail's jewel-encrusted coffin. Sensing something wrong, Sieg cried out to his friend, but the demon God had already acted -- escaping its confines of the half-completed seal, and forcing itself into Delacroix's body, taking control of the Lord's body.

This is when Siela reacted. Horrified by the turn of events, she watched as the form of her lover contorted and posied his sword in Sieg's direction with obvious murderous intent. She knew full well that if Sieg were to die then and there, that there would be no hope for Delacroix to regain his humanity.

Launching herself forward, Siela planted herself quickly between the two knights, as her lover's sword met the flesh of her abdomen, the blade unforgiving as it forced itself further into her body. She slunk to the ground, in front of a horrified Sieg and a still-possessed Delacroix.

As she died in the arms of her friend, she unclasped her necklace (which looks curiously like a Glyph Sphere) and placed it into Sieg's hand, as he held her for her last few breaths. "Take care of Delacroix... In my place," she choked out her last words.

How it Began

Of course, Siela today as absolutely no recollection of these events. Her first memory is of waking up in the company of nuns, in a church stationed in the city of Rotarl. She had her daily chores, cooked (although it usually ended up blackened and -- inedible) and cleaned, but wasn't too fond of the heavy atmosphere, nor the burden that she considered herself on the church. Also, living with such strict rules imposed by the nuns wasn't really all that appealing to her.

Upon hearing that there were other inter-connecting worlds joined with what was referred to as the MDEA, Siela decided that she needed to start a new life for herself, in order to escape the shadows that haunted her in Rotarl.

Packing up what little things she had, Siela set off for Desai and what she considered, the land of opportunity. University was one of her top choices on starting her life anew, as she felt she needed to becoming a more fuctioning member of society, instead of some deadweight amnesiac.

However, Siela is still living with the looming shadow of death over her. Hardly a night passes in which she doesn't dream of her own death, with ghostly whispers taunting her for her inability to remember.

Those Surrounding

Although she faces the world with a sometimes heavy heart in terms of her own fate, she still seems rather cheery in the presence of other people. Those that she comes into contact with are usually either put off be her natural curiosity, or at the very least -- don't seem to mind her company.

Sae: The Failed Sarcifice is Siela's room mate. Because of her obscure way of speaking in what seems to be like riddles, Siela is, to say the least, a little freaked out by her roomie. She's about 95% certain that Sae keeps an imaginary friend named Makabe, on top of being rather insane.

Lady: Lady is really the first person that Siela reached out to on the network. Posing various questions about sleeping aids, the demon hunter offered some solutions that may help the girl out. In order to repay her for her kindness, Siela showed up at Lady's door one afternoon, wondering if the brunette would join her for lunch (scene). Not having anyone she can call 'friend' Lady seems to be the closest thing so far.

Mr. Mud: Unbeknownst to Siela, the "tall, dark and brooding" (as she refers to him) young man is actually Victor Delacroix, her lost love. Meeting completely by chance in the still of night, Siela was immediately touched by the devotion that the young Lord had to his own lost love, and the heart that she wore on her sleeve bled for him. Now, she tries hard to slightly annoy him in order to see to it that he smiles again... even if she hasn't seen his face quite yet.
The nickname Mr. Mud comes from her referring to him as a 'Stick in the mud' and often, 'No fun at all.'
