Sent this to Pastor Nathan Brown at 11:09pm on Fri 22-June, after he had a go at me.
I am really disappointed Nathan.. It seems every time we talk, and I don't mean like oh hey how are you, but seriously talk, it's always you basically pointing out where I'm going wrong. Tonight: perfect example, a few months back, you spoke to me about how I was, again, failing. Purity Deon, Focus Deon, Don't sit with the girls Deon, Don't put earrings on Deon, Don't sit with people Deon, Don't muck around Deon, SIT ON YOUR OWN, DEON. Dude: You seriously think when 600 other EPICers are sitting with their friends, including my own friends group.. I'm gonna push them all away, and go and sit in the corner? I will have to seriously, seriously consider even coming next Central.. because the enjoyment factor and the awesome time I used to get out of EPIC's Centrals is greatly diminishing. I've been coming to EPIC for 4 years.. and I always thought I would go further.. Internship, Leadership, futher.. I thought I would always stay at EPIC, or at least at CityLife... now I'm wondering what the heck I'm even doing there? And it seems easier than pretending that I am having a good time, and connecting well with the Lord, and worshipping and praying and reflecting and everything, that I just not come at all.. I can pretend at home. It's a terrible shame it has come to this... I really loved my EPIC, and I'll miss everyone greatly. Yours, Deon Wentworth
