Kwok Wong is one of the eldest living residents of the Wei Society, sharing that title with Lao Ma, and splitting the influence of the complex with the woman. Initially overly critical of Hao Wei, Kwok challenged Hao to a magician's duel for control of the society thinking him unfit to lead the family. Revealing himself to be a Buddhist monk to Hao, Kwok nearly defeated the young Wu Lung in the duel but withdrew his contestation mid-battle when Hao showed humility and apologized for his slight against the elderly man. While participating with the binding of Renxli, Kwok's spirit entered its war form and took on the seeming of Kuan-Ti, giant halbeard and all. Once it was completed, despite his age Kwok found himself chosen to become a minister of Heaven by the family Ancestors.
