The Beginning

My name?....what was my name?...

It was Hakubi Ryoko, But not any more. I was a ranger in the Seventh Legion, and fought a woman named V'neef Ayeka...but that was so long ago...to me at least. As was the loss of my other half...she was killed while we were exploring some Manse...a clawstrider-man he made her die...

I...I couldn't take it any more...I returned what was left of her, and walked into the desert, to have what I disbursed be returned to me for my failure....and He came instead.

I fought him, for what little my heat-addled body could, and he gave me a choice...a choice to remain...and take vengeance...

And we shall....all of us. Ayeka will not stop us....this one they now call the sun touched. The Realm will not stop us. Death has not stopped us, why should anything else...

  • Realm year 768 *

Ryoko Covered the distance the clawstriders had, holding onto the small body of the dearest friend she had, the first person she loved, in 2 days, The quest that clamied her life forgotten, but the cause of Her loss burned into her memory, like a poker to the spirit.

The Despot’s harriers were incinerated when they attempted to impede her leaving, a rings of glass and charred flesh marking their passing from creation

She returned to the mountain where she had met the Lunar, and started to climb, started to climb the mountain with all of it’s predatory occupants, the half-crazed woman unmolested, either out of respect for what she was returning, or the respect that one predator would have for another. Back to the court of The God-Blooded’s Uncle, the Eastern King of Felines. She stopped at the Lion guarding the God’s domain. “ Let me pass…I…I…” she had to stop, the words wouldn’t come, they fled from her throat before she could release them. It took a great deal of her strength, to collect them again, tears running down her face.

“ Let me pass… I am here to return kin to kin…you may kill me afterwards…..if that is my punishment.” She says, voice near cracking the entire sentence. She presented the body of Ryo-ohki to her Uncle, on hands and knees, bowed to the point of her head being upon the floor, cyan hair obscuring the crying as she waited for Aslan's jaws to end her own life, and she hoped, reunite her and the spirit of the young one she missed so greatly. She believed she had failed her, failed the only one that saw anything in her beyond her mother.

The Eastern God of Felines informed the Lookshayan woman before her of her pages's true duty, which did nothing to stop her grief, if anything it stoked the fire. And even though she was allowed to stay after the burial was done, she slipped out in the night, still injured, now moreso in heart than body, carrying the red Jade claws, and collar of her fallen love, out into the desert.

the Armored warrior int the desert was unexpected, but a death is still a death, and she fought, with all the weapons at the disposal, but finally, The armored nightmare known as the first and Forsaken Lion laid low the mortal, a hollow chuckle coming from him. ' Impressive, child...futile, put impressive..." he says, holding up the damaged double-barreled firewand. ' This is your doing...for someone else..." He growls in her ear, her eyes unfocused, staring into the underworld. " She is still living...and I have use for you...all you need do...is give me your name...and i will make you strong enough to kill your nightmare...and those who took this one from you. you need say only three words..." HE says, hovering over her, like the reaper he truly was.

" Master...save me..." she says, the last of her strength, hand out to the armored nightmare.
