Dave Cheeseman joined the show for Mike Spargo's game on March 2 and had taken the vacate by Trevor Bruce the previous day. He played a good game and had quite a rocky start with a few reds taken out earlier. He was then offered £20,000. This gave Dave a tough decision with £50,000, £75,000 & £100,000 remaining on the game board, but then after a lot of thought he decided to take the money and not risk things further at all. But there was more money in the game at that point, because he would have been offered £41,000. The next proveout round was not great news either, he had remained with £50,000 & £75,000 remaining on the game board and would have been offered at that point a minimum of £60,000. Things start to get even worse as it would have provided a fantastic finish and his dream would have later come true as he had £50,000 in his box.
