The rocket hull consists of a PVC tube with a diameter of 110mm. It is a cluster rocket, meaning the rocket is powered by three engines which ignite and burn simultanously. These are 40mm PVC SRP engines with a KNO3/Sucrose solid fuel, a total impulse of 180 Ns and a burn time of 1 second. The rockets bulkheads are made of MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard), attached with epoxy and steel brackets. The recovery system consists of the PerfectFlite microTimer 2 electronics, a parachute system and pyrocharges. The pyrocharges will seperate the rocket at the parachute compartment, thus deploying the parachute. The nosecone is made out of polystyrene and will contain an egg which needs to be safely returned as part of the competition.
