Current revision as of 09:53, 25 March 2008

(TU Delft).

Contents

History

DARE was created in 2001 by six enthousiast Aerospace Engineering students, studying at the Technical University of Delft. These students had a craving to apply the knowledge gained during their curriculum in practise, by building rockets. In 2005 DARE has joined the 'Universalis' foundation. This foundation enables DARE to handle its own business on their own account. To learn more about Foundation Universalis, surf to Stichting Universalis

Engines

DARE uses home built and designed rocket engines. Over the years, the following engines have been built and tested.

Engines

RVD (30mm aluminium) 300 Ns 1.4 sKNO3/Sucrose

BigBoy 11000 Ns 5 s 17 kg? 11 kg KNO3/Sorbitol
DEIMOS I (50000) Ns 30 s per burn 6 kg (indefinite) LCH4/LOX

Raket stabiliteit
