Abbreviated version of "Coming Into Existence" day. It is basically a dæmon's birthday, and is the day when you recognized your dæmon as a seperate entity and started conversing with him/her.


Controversy

This term has been hailed by some to be inacurate. The stated reason for this is that the dæmon is always there, even if the human doesn't realize it. Thus, the dæmon would 'come into existence' on the humans birthday. Alternate terms have been presented as possible replacements, (Such as DiscDay - short for Discovery Day) but none of them have cought on as of yet.
