- 30th - Park Hill: The House Sparrow colony at the junction of Chichester Road/St Bernards/Alpine Close that had persisted (with diminishing numbers) for some years appears finally to have died out - no sparrows seen or heard at the site yet this spring (John Parish).
- 29th - Hutchinson's Bank - Lesser Whitethroat, Whitethroat, 3 Chiffchaff, 9 Blackcap, Stock Dove (Ted Forsyth)
- 28th - Hutchinson's Bank - Sparrowhawk displaying over Frylands Wood, 4 Chiffchaff, 6 Blackcap (Ted Forsyth)
- 28th - South Norwood CP: Red Kite west 10:45hrs, Grasshopper Warbler (reeling in wet meadow), Lesser Whitethroat (singing briefly in and near children's play area), 2 Reed Warblers singing and House Martin. Also Beddington SF: Red Kite east (ie would be heading towards Croydon) (London Birders)

- 25th - New Addington (Rowdown area) ttv highlights. 8 Skylarks (7 singing), 9 Whitethroats, 1 Willow Warbler, 11 Blackcaps, 5 Chiffchaffs, 2 Stock Doves, 4 Pheasants, 2 Goldcrest, 1 Nuthatch. (John Birkett)

- 24th - Five Ways Junction on the A23 - Sparrowhawk flying over Waddon Estate towards Purley Way playing fields. (Simon Harris)
- 23rd - Russell Hill, Purley. Sparrowhawk flying over being mobbed by a crow
- 23rd - Russell Hill, Purley. 2 canada geese flying over
- 22nd - Russell Hill, Purley. Tawny owl hooting during the evening
- 22nd - Selsdon Wood - 1 Singing Blackcap, 1 singing Chiffchaff, Chaffinch, Woodpigeon, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Jay, Song Thrush singing, Long tailed Tits, Green Woodpecker calling, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Magpie, Carrion Crow. - 22nd - South Norwood Lake: (10:00-11:00hrs) pair Gadwall (John Watson)
- 21st - Town Centre (6:00pm) Female Sparrowhawk hunting over Queens Gardens before flying over Croydon College towards and circling the NLA Tower at East Croydon station (Simon Harris)
- 21st - 2 Swallows over Heavers Meadow then another at Brickfields Meadow. Pair of Mallard with three young and singing Goldcrest at Brickfields Meadow. South Norwood CP - 1 Greylag, Coot on nest, 2 Sparrowhawks, 1 Kestrel, 2 male Reed Buntings, singing Garden Warbler, singing Whitethroat, singing Blackcap. (John Birkett)

- 5th - Farthing Downs/Happy Valley. 4 skylarks, 7 yellowhammers, 1 meadow pipit (over), 1 female wheatear, 3 linnets, 4 goldfinchs, 5/6 chiffchaffs and 5 blackcaps (singing), great spotted and green woodpeckers (several), mistle thrush, 2 greylags over, ring necked parakeets, 1 pheasant, 12 jackdaws.
