- 30th - Addington Hills (0745): Pair (or at any rate a couple) of Roe Deer disturbed "in cop". Having read recently in John Wyatt's classic "The Shining Levels" about the damage the stilletto-sharp antlers of a roebuck can inflict, I didn't linger when this little fellow, angry at being interrupted (who wouldn't be?!), spotted me standing 30m away and gave a few warning barks in my direction!
