- Contract
- Sign and Read CAREFULLY Contract, see Ritsa
- Tax office
- Go to Tax office (El Greco Square)
This is called EFORIA in Greek. You need to get a tax number there which is the AFM. Ask Ritsa to fill the forms for you.
- AFM
- You need a tax number. Again Ritsa can fill the forms for you. Ritsa has the forms in her office.
- IKA
- is your health insurance and pension plan. Additionally to this you are also privately ensured through the lab with a company called PHENIX. If you have a wife or child you can (and should) sign her or him up for it as well (23EU/month)
You can find it in Agios Minas street. For IKA you need to take your newly aquired tax number (AFM), and get a social security number.
- Bank
- You have two options. The National Bank of Greece or Peraias Bank. The latter has a branch at ITE which is very advantagous.
- Get paid
- Give all these numbers to Ritsa to get paid!
