Red options

If a story says "private" in the index, the original author doesn't welcome other users' contributions. If it says "open", they do. However, if it's been a year or more since someone worked on their story, even if the setting is "private", I'd say you should feel free to work on the red links. --Platypus 13:36, 13 September 2021 (UTC)
