You think better of testing this device on an animal first. You suspect that could have been dangerous. You place the collar around your own neck, and push the time stop button. For a moment it as if you have passed through the gates of hell. You feel like a thousand needles have stabbed every inch of your body. A bright red all consuming lightning bolt radiates all around you. You hear what sounds like the a sonic boom from a jet aircraft a few feet from your head... You are weak and disoriented and fall to the ground in terrible agony feeling like you weigh more than an elephant... Everything smells as if it were burning... but this horrific suffering only lasts a short time although it felt like an eternity.
The light gradually fades... The smell has gone away, and the pain stops. It seems as though things have gone back to "normal".
Things have not gone back to "normal". Time has been stopped for the world around you. You shakily walk to your bedroom door, and open it. The analog clock on the wall says 6:51. The second hand is frozen in place. You peer your head out of the living room window to see a bird mid flight frozen in the air. A young lady is riding past on a bicycle, yet she is motionless.
Your mother Lisa is getting ready for work at the restaurant. You open the door to the bathroom, and see your mother motionless brushing her teeth... butt naked! She stares blankly at the door.
