"Probably never," Jesse says. "Sometimes they take folks out if two of us can't seem to get along, but I think they just 'em in a different pen. That horse feller over there said he came from somewhere else 'cause some hyena kept picking fights with him. Dick envy, I'm sure."

This just keeps getting worse and worse. "So, what are we supposed to do with ourselves? Just sit around all day?" That sounds like a living hell.

"Of course not," Jesse says with a toothy smile. "There are lots of things...and folks...to do around here. Would you like me to show you?"
