The Zoo/"Oscar is mine now."

From Create Your Own Story

"Oh, yeah?" the wolf snarls, showing his yellowed teeth. "You really think you're gonna take him from me?"

"No, I think you're going to hand him over quietly and walk away," you say.

The wolf laughs. "And why would I do that?"

"Because a zebra's kick is so powerful that it can shatter a lion's jaw," you say, "so what do you think it's going to do when I kick you in the balls?"

"That might have worked if you hadn't warned me first," the wolf sneers.

"Last chance," you say, hoping your confidence discourages him from starting a fight, but it's clear that his arrogance knows no bounds. He release Oscar's tail and steps over him, moving toward you with a contemptuous swagger.

You step forward and fake like you're going to kick him. He turns to protect the family jewels and you slam your fist into the side of his jaw, sending him staggering back. Before he can recover, you punch him in the gut and he doubles over, then you grab his pointed ears and slam your knee up into his muzzle. He drops to the ground, spitting blood.

"Oh, did I forget to mention I was bouncer at a pretty rough nightclub before I turned into a zebra?" you say. You keep one eye on him, but he's not getting up. Like all cowards, he only likes picking a fight he knows he can win. You hold your hand down toward the otter.

"C'mon, Oscar, let's go somewhere else."

He looks up at you, his big brown eyes filled with gratitude, but also a little fear. You're not sure if he's still afraid of the wolf, or of you, but he reaches up, takes your hand, and lets you help him to his feet.
