The grizzly shrugs his massive, furred shoulders. "Don't hardly remember not being in here, so...a long damn time, I reckon."
"You remember from before?" you ask, trying to think, but everything is a blank.
"It comes and goes," the grizzly drawled, like it was no big deal. "The name's Duke, by the way."
"I...I can't remember who I am," you say, feeling a flutter of panic in your chest.
"Don't worry about it," the fox says. "None of us can. You just pick a new name. I call myself Red."
You look down at yourself, trying to decide what your new name should be.
"You could be Puff, or Smaug, or Gorbash," Red suggests.
"How about...Chris?" Duke says. You and Red look up at him. "What? What's wrong with Chris?"
"Nothing," you say, "but it's my name and I choose...Draco."
Duke snorts. "Yeah, that's real original. Okay, Draco, what do you say we get ourselves some chow?"
