You don't want to waste any time. "Come on," you whisper to Paul, leading him to the door. You open it cautiously. Then you gasp.

You are staring directly into a soldier's face!

You try to close the door, but he kicks it open, knocking you backwards. You are unarmed. He is not, and he shoots you in the chest. You crumple to the cold floor.

The last thing you see before you expire is a whole platoon of soldiers roughly escorting Paul back to the cell. The ironic thing is that you are probably luckier than he's going to be.
