Cassie removed the overcoat, draped it neatly over a chair, then crawled under the covers of the bed. It was warm and comfortable. She felt herself relaxing.

Serena slid in from the other side. "How are you feeling?"

"Better."

"That's good, sweetie. You just close your eyes and rest."

Serena gently pulled Cassie's body against her own, holding her from behind. Cassie's head was against the older woman's upper chest.

Serena's hands softly caressed Cassie's body. The touch was very relaxing.
