He starts his engine and drives off, leaving you alone again

The engine of the car suddenly starts up. Before you can react, it roars off.
You're left staring, open-mouthed, in shock, for several minutes.
"I knew it would work."
You turn your head. There's a dark figure standing behind you.
"After I eviscerated that foolish deputy, I drove his car out this way, figuring you'd be curious enough to approach."
"Where's the car now, and how did you get back here so quickly?"
"About two miles down the road. I put the deputy's body in it for his co-workers to find in a day or two. As for getting back here, I'm supernatural."
"So, what now?"
"Now I give you a choice. You've been resourceful and fun to chase, so I'll let you decide your own end. Would you prefer to see the blade coming, or would you like to be stabbed from behind?"
You wish there was the option to live somewhere in there. But...
