Examine the mummy's corpse to see if it provides any clues about the demon

The mummy had the ability to make that red glow. Perhaps the solution to shattering the demonic warlord's invincibility lies underneath the mummy's bandages.

You try the decapitated head first, gingerly unwrapping the white bandages. The well-preserved head of an Inca warrior is revealed underneath, but provides no further clues. It just seems like an ordinary (ex)-human head.

You then begin unwrapping the bandages on the torso. You become so engrossed in your task that you don't hear the other mummies approaching. By the time you notice them, it is too late. They have surrounded you, several dozen of them.

You manage to cut off several of their arms and heads with your sword before you are overwhelmed. One mummy rips the pendant from your neck. You stab yourself in the heart to avoid a more gruesome death.
