You hesitate. It's really not a good idea to give your cell number to a complete stranger. Sue nods as if she read your mind. She smiles to let you know she isn't angry.

"Maybe will meet again," she says. You can hear her disappointment, but what were you supposed to do?

You make an apologetic gesture and wave her good bye. Sue hurries off. You look after her until she is out of sight. Your cell rings. For one irrational moment you think it's Sue calling you, but it is only Kirsten summoning you by Julianne's orders. It's time to board the plane.
