An Embarrassing Adventure/teen house-it begins

Peering inside, you see who you presume to be the tall girl's father sitting on the couch reading a newspaper. It is pretty late in the day to be reading the newspaper, but you are sure he has his reasons.

Further back, you see a hallway which you presume must lead to the bedrooms, and you can tell that after entering through the back door the teens will have to sneak literally right behind the father to make it to the hall.

As a matter of fact, you barely see the short girl now, crouched down several feet from the man and waving for her friends to come closer. It does not seem as if their plan will work without some outside interference.

Some outside interference, perhaps?

• Tap on the window.
• Move to the front door and ring the doorbell.
• Stand up and wave your arms.
• Wait and see how it plays out.
