Many minutes pass on by as Serenity stays put and watches the two men surrounding the fire. Singing a shanty with each a bottle of ail in their hand, they take a long swig and continue their song about pillaging and gaining riches from noblemen. They both laugh and murmur on about living a life with pockets full of gold. Serenity couldn't help but to smile at their silly stories as she watches from the shadows. It was so entertaining in fact that she almost forgot about her objective to wipe of the group that have set up camp here.
"Oi! What are you doing blabbering on about?" Shouts a voice coming from the darkness.
"Aw, we're just carrying on about our soon to be fortune!" Replies the bald man with a long ginger beard hanging from his chin.
The two men that vanished into the darkness earlier now gather around the fire and join the two jolly men who were well drunk and join them into song.
"You two are singing nonsense!" Replies the scabby man with his cutlass in his hand. "We're bandits; the boss send us out to pillage and we return with our spoils."
"Yeah... Well, it doesn't hurt to dream now does it?" Replies the ginger man who sits with his legs crossed.
Serenity couldn't watch all night. If she was to be paid and make a small fortune herself, she'd best continue on her quest and advance onward. Then again, waiting until they sleep could be a better option.
