"My father Jonah is a pirate captain," Rebecca tells you. "He commands the Osprey. I've been sailing with him since I was a little girl. He's not a bad man, but he's too ambitious for his own good. Recently he made a deal with Nikola von Carstein. He supports him for the election and brings him the votes of all his crew, and in return von Carstein gives him command of a large fleet when he is prince. My father even got me engaged to him without my consent, to seal their alliance. I suppose you understand, then, why I'm helping you. But I can't do much more without putting my father and myself in danger."
