"You said this was a hold up," the teller says.
"I said 'hold up'," you say. "Because I can't remember which pocket I put my ID in."
The teller looks confused.
"Are we needed here?" an officer asks.
"I guess not," the teller says. "Sorry for troubling you."
"No problem," the officer says.
The officers leave. The teller looks embarassed. You can't believe that excuse worked.
"I'm very sorry about that," she says. "Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?"
