Cast ZAP on the Wolfhound

You cast a quick spell and point towards the beast. A lightning blast shoots from your fingertip and catches the Wolfhound square in the forehead. It drops to the ground, quite dead. Around the creature's neck is a collar which interests you – a strangely valuable ornament for a beast.

When the smoke clears, the hut and the village seem terribly quiet once more. You head back outside.
