Enough is enough. You use your demonic powers to break free of the slime holding you to the banks. Then you simply peel each of the grotesque creatures off one by one like a band-aid.
You throw each slug as far as you can back towards the center of the water, and watch as they disappear into the depths with a splash.
Cautiously, you wade back into the water ever so slightly back into the pond in order to rinse off the residual slime stuck to your skin; being careful to avoid any mysterious slimy lumps you may encounter.
