This is taking way too long, something must have come up on their scan. As you divert all nonessential power to your engines you begin to wonder how they figured you out. Did someone spot you? Did you piss off one of your contacts? On the holoscreen, the 3D projection of your ship's engines glow a bright blue, and you're just about to make the jump to slip space when Burgess' voice chimes in.

"Sorry about the wait, Captain Atwood, there was a little problem with our systems. Seems that you-" His scans must have picked up the diversion of your ship's power, because with a confused tone he says, "Going somewhere?"

You quickly power your engines down, and say, "Sorry about that, just running some diagnostics while I waited."

Burgess grunts. If he knows you're lying, he doesn't seem to care. "Well, you can finish your diagnostics on the station." His voice maintains it's same bored monotony, but his language becomes more official as he says, "Captain Corbin Atwood, you are cleared for landing. Proceed to dock four-three."

"Thanks, Captain Atwood on route."
