A 10-year-old boy
From Create Your Own Story
You wake up and look around your hospital room. It's been months since you've seen anything else. "What a strange dream," you think. That's when you begin to notice the differences in your room--the cheery decor, the table covered in stuffed animals, the beautiful young woman reading a thick college textbook in the chair beside your bed. This isn't your room. This isn't your bed. This isn't your body. As you try to speak up to get the woman's attention, three things come to your immediate attention--the arm you lift up towards her is much smaller than you're used to, it has IV tubing and sensor leads attached to it, and you can't actually speak because there is something down your throat.
As you lay there gagging on the thing down your throat, the redhead looks up. Her electric blue eyes go very wide and she says quietly, but sharply, "Jimmy?!" Dropping her book as she rushes to her feet, she yells out, "Oh, my God! Jimmy! You're awake!" She looks like she wants to rush over and hug you, but noticing your distress, she instead rushes out of the room and through the still open door you can hear her calling out, "Nurse, come quick! Jimmy's awake and he's choking." A couple of nurses rush to your room in response to her calls and they quickly remove the tubing from your throat and get you settled comfortably. One of them leaves to go get a doctor while the other remains to begin checking you over.
Do you:
