You decide to late fate take you where it wills. You spend several weeks drifting along with the current, the shoreline only a small feature in the distance. One day you find yourself drifting close to the shore. The sky is covered in grey clouds, and the land is covered in fir trees. Wherever you are, you're certain it's not California.
