"It's alright. You can go if you want," you tell her. "I'm not forcing you to go."
"Really?" Heidi jumps and hugs you. "Thank you very much. I knew you'd understand. I'm really sorry. Maybe next time?"
"Sure," you nod. "Now go and finish up your novel and tell me what you think of it after."
"Will do. And thanks again." With that, she leaves.
A few minutes pass, and you face the scene. The party is still going on.
